Volt is hiring a Mechanical Quality Inspector for a leading manufacturing company in Miramar, CA. This is a Direct Hire, Permanent opportunity.

As a Mechanical Quality Inspector, you will:

• Inspect mechanical parts including first article, in Process, and final inspections
• Verify materials, processes, and certifications from sub tier vendors
• Complete all required documentation in accordance with AS9100 standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area; properly handle tools, equipment, and materials
• Calibrate inspection tools and support quality system procedures required for ISO, military, and customer specifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum 5 years of mechanical inspection experience
• Caliper experience and strong blueprint reading skills
• Proficiency in advanced CMM programming using PC DMIS 4.2 or later
• Ability to perform complex inspection setups
• Advanced job shop math proficiency
• Experience with a wide range of inspection/measuring tools, CMM operation, and surface plate set ups
• Thorough understanding of true position tolerancing and Cartesian coordinate systems

Shifts Available:

• 1st Shift: 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM (with overtime available)
• 2nd Shift: 1:45 PM - 10:00 PM (with overtime available)

Pay Rate:
$25/hr. - $41/hr. (DOE)
