Job SummaryThe Account Manager, Physician and Leadership, is a sales-driven, hunting-focused role responsible for prospecting, acquiring, and growing new client relationships while owning the ongoing success of assigned accounts. This individual serves as the primary client contact for all program-related activity and is accountable for driving engagement, setting expectations, and delivering results aligned with program design plans.
This role is ideal for a highly motivated, metrics-oriented professional who thrives in outbound sales, cold calling, and proactive prospecting, and who can successfully build and manage a book of business within a consultative healthcare staffing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively prospect and develop new client relationships through cold calling, outbound outreach, and targeted prospecting efforts
- Build and grow a sustainable book of business within physician and leadership staffing programs
- Partner with Sales Leads and Solution Architects to establish strong relationships with hiring leaders and gain a clear understanding of program expectations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, owning all program-related communication and delivery outcomes
- Set and manage client expectations regarding account strategy, timelines, market conditions, and results
- Consult with clients on best practices and standard methodologies to support successful search execution
- Own responsibility for overall account success, satisfaction, and retention
- Communicate regularly with Recruiting teams through scheduled huddles to provide updates on requisitions and candidate progress
- Lead final candidate qualification, including interviewing when appropriate, prior to client presentation
- Provide clients with weekly activity reporting, pipeline updates, and progress summaries
- Operate with urgency, accountability, and discipline in a performance-driven environment
Sales and Performance Expectations:
- Heavy outbound activity including cold calling, prospecting, and follow-up
- Consistent achievement of sales and activity KPIs such as:
- Outreach and call volume
- New account acquisition
- Pipeline growth and account expansion
- Client engagement and retention
- Ability to manage multiple active accounts while continuing to generate new business
Key Skills:
- Strong understanding of sales execution and project management expectations
- Proven ability to lead clients and candidates through complex, time-sensitive search processes
- Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport at all organizational levels
- Confident managing objections, expectations, and competing priorities
Qualifications:Education and Years of Experience
- Associate's Degree with 2-5 years of relevant experience in Sales
- OR High School Diploma or GED with 4-7 years of relevant experience in Sales
Additional Experience
- Prior experience in a client-facing, quota-driven sales or account management role
- Demonstrated success in hunting, cold calling, and business development
- Experience within healthcare staffing, professional services, or talent solutions preferred
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
- Work is performed in an office/home office environment.
- Team Members must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.

Pay Rate$19.50 - $24.25 Hourly
Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
