My client, a well-established non-profit organization in New York City, is seeking an AR/Billing Manager to join their team. This role will report directly to the CFO and partner closely with the Accounting team, while overseeing all Billing and Accounts Receivable functions. The position will manage monthly membership dues, incoming checks, and all donation activity, and will play a key role in improving best practices, processes, and procedures across the department. Enhancing the ACH payment process is a top priority for the CFO and will be a major focus during the first few months in the role. Strong customer service experience is essential, as this position will regularly interact with members and donors and must demonstrate professionalism and responsiveness. There is significant opportunity to make an impact by increasing efficiency, so the ideal candidate is proactive, driven, collaborative, and motivated to succeed in a dynamic team environment. The ideal background includes 5+ years of AR/Billing experience, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic. The role is four days onsite, offers a base salary up to $90K, excellent health benefits, and a competitive 401(k) plan. Interested candidates are encouraged to respond accordingly.
