This posting is set up to receive applications for Adjunct Faculty already identified by University of Richmond's School of Arts & Sciences. We are not currently recruiting for these roles and you should only apply if you have been specifically instructed to by either University of Richmond's Human Resource Department or the School of Arts & Sciences.

Adjunct faculty members in the School of Arts & Sciences teach courses that draw upon their rich variety of academic disciplines and work experiences.

All part-time faculty must meet SACSCOC regulation requirements. They must have earned either a masters degree in their respective teaching field or a masters degree in another field with at least 18 hours of masters level work for the field in which they will teach. If an individual that does not meet these requirements, but has experience and skills that could be justified to SACSCOC, a justification letter can be provided to support these qualifications.

Adjunct faculty will be expected to meet classes as scheduled, to strive to improve teaching effectiveness, to take a sympathetic interest in the progress and development of each student, to keep accurate records of the academic standing of each student, and to hand in promptly all reports of grades and other information required by the deans, the Registrar, the Provost, or the President.
