Position Title: Vice President, Professional Services

Position Location: Remote

Job Summary:

The role of Vice President, Professional Services in the Cybersecurity Practice leads Pellera's professional services delivery teams of cybersecurity experts in delivering innovative and effective solutions to our clients. This role plays a strategic role in shaping our cybersecurity offerings, driving business growth, and ensuring the highest standards of service delivery. With your leadership and expertise, you will empower organizations to navigate the complex landscape of cyber threats and safeguard their digital assets.

Essential Functions:

  • Partner with the GTM Cybersecurity practice leader to develop and execute the strategic vision and roadmap for the cybersecurity practice in alignment with the company's overall objectives.
  • In collaboration with the GTM Cybersecurity practice leader, define service offerings, go-to-market strategies, and business development initiatives to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Oversee business development activities for professional services which includes positioning, scoping, and negotiating of professional services SOWs
  • Track and report project metrics including completion ratios, overruns and project margins
  • Stay abreast of emerging cybersecurity trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements to anticipate client needs and market opportunities.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their cybersecurity challenges and business objectives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance on cybersecurity risk management and mitigation strategies.
  • Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
  • Drive continuous improvement in service delivery processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Establish the company as a thought leader in cybersecurity through speaking engagements, whitepapers, webinars, and participation in industry events.
  • Contribute to industry forums and standards bodies to shape best practices and influence the evolution of cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Foster a culture of innovation within the cybersecurity practice, encouraging experimentation and the exploration of new ideas.
  • Provide expertise and guidance on cybersecurity risk management, compliance frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay informed about evolving cyber threats and vulnerabilities, advising clients on proactive measures to protect their assets.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, inspire confidence, and influence decision-making.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in technical service delivery or technical project management
  • 8+ years of experience directly managing a professional services organization
  • Proven leadership experience in cybersecurity consulting or related roles, with a track record of driving business growth and client success.
  • Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent are highly desirable.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
