Antiterrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) Analyst
In this role you will be a part of the U.S. Coast Guard headquarters team that provides policy and security program support for the security and resilience of critical USCG missions, infrastructures, and assets.
In this high visibility, demanding role you'll have the opportunity to provide advisory, analytical, and physical security support for the USCG's worldwide operations and key national security missions. You'll work across teams and integrate with other disciplines and teams for mission protection and success and serve as the primary subject matter expert for AT/FP program development, threat integration, vulnerability assessment, exercise planning and execution, and policy development spanning the tactical, operational, and strategic levels.
In this role you will...
- Develop, review, and implement AT/FP policy at the tactical, operational, and strategic levels in support of USCG enterprise-wide security programs.
- Integrate threat information from law enforcement, the intelligence community, and interagency partners into USCG AT/FP programs.
- Analyze problem areas and situations identified through AT/FP assessments; develop findings, risk determinations, and countermeasure recommendations.
- Plan, develop, and execute AT/FP exercises spanning Tabletop to Full Scale levels, including scenario development, player coordination, facilitation, and after-action reporting
- Train USCG personnel on AT/FP policies, procedures, and program requirements.
- Assist in security planning to ensure appropriate levels of physical security and force protection are maintained for all USCG owned and leased facilities, building occupants, critical infrastructure, and mission essential functions.
- Assess AT/FP compliance and effectiveness during Staff Assistance Visits to operational USCG locations.
- Coordinate with interagency security partners, law enforcement entities, and USCG units on AT/FP matters.
Experience Requirements:A minimum of five (5) years of direct relevant experience in AT/FP policy, planning, assessment, and administration is required. Experience must reflect knowledge and proficiency in staff and action officer functions at a military service headquarters level. Experience must include demonstrated proficiency in the following areas:
- AT/FP Policy Development & Implementation.
- Threat Information Integration.
- AT/FP Assessment Analysis.
- Personnel Training.
- Exercise Development & Execution (including HSEEP).
- Must have a documented AT/FP Level II Certification.
- Demonstrated customer service, technical writing and editing, and interpersonal skills.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in security-related discipline and five years direct relevant experience; or
- 10 years of directly relevant experience (may substitute for degree)
Security Clearance Requirements:
- Secret Clearance
- Ability to pass DHS security requirements to obtain an ID card and for handling Controlled Unclassified Information
Desirable/Other Qualifications:
- Prior direct support to USCG security or law enforcement programs.
- Experience with HSIN, MIST, and ISC-CS applications.
- Experience with the Coast Guard Business Intelligence or similar/predecessor systems.
- Homeland defense, homeland security, Defense Support for Civil Authorities, physical security, or law enforcement background

The anticipated compensation range for this position is $60,000-130,000. Multiple considerations are taken into account when determining the final salary/hour rate, including but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, education and certifications, relevant work experience, related skills and competencies, as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
