Title: AP Clerk
Location: Goodlettsville TN
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: $23/hour
Type: Contract to possible hire
Hours: Standard Business Hours | Monday-Friday | 40 hours

REQUIREMENTS: AP Clerk
* Experience: 1+ years of full-time AP experience.
* Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, AS400/Island Pacific, and handling large volumes of data. Experience with Oracle is a plus.
* Strong GAAP accounting knowledge.
* Skilled at gathering data from multiple sources, organizing, prioritizing, and managing/manipulating information effectively.
* Experience with journal preparation, month-end close processes, reviewing market trends, and identifying vendor-related issues.

RESPONSIBILITIES: AP Clerk
* Review drop-ship invoices for cost discrepancies and unauthorized products.
* Communicate and follow up daily with vendors and merchants to resolve invoice discrepancies.
* Support stores and field teams by responding to inquiries, performing research and corrective entries, and delivering timely, accurate resolutions related to inventory adjustments.
* Process daily invoice payments in accounts payable.
* Review vendor statements to ensure all invoices are processed accurately and on time.
* Verify PIAA (Physical Inventory Adjustment Application) transactions for accuracy, including error file management.
* Ensure timely and accurate processing of DSD (Direct Store Delivery) invoices and PIAA transmissions to the Retail Stock Ledger.
* Research discrepancies from stores and vendors to maintain inventory accuracy at the store level.
