Software Engineer - Application Performance Monitoring (Splunk & AppDynamics), You will:

• Consult on and participate in moderately complex Software Engineering initiatives and deliverables.
• Contribute to large-scale planning and execution of Software Engineering deliverables.
• Monitor and analyze application performance, availability, stability, and operational health using Splunk and AppDynamics.
• Investigate application and system performance issues and perform detailed root-cause analysis.
• Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges involving multiple technical and operational factors.
• Contribute to the resolution of production and application performance issues.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, alerts, reports, and monitoring solutions using APM and observability platforms.
• Analyze application and operational data to identify performance trends, anomalies, and potential risks.
• Collaborate with Software Engineering, application support, infrastructure, and other technology teams to resolve issues and meet deliverables.
• Communicate technical findings, issues, risks, and recommendations effectively to engineering teams and leadership.
• Participate in incident, problem, and change-management processes as required.
• Leverage knowledge of engineering policies, procedures, standards, and compliance requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve monitoring, automation, operational efficiency, and application reliability.
• Work effectively with client personnel and geographically dispersed teams.
• Manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines and working under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in ServiceNow (SNOW), Automation, Power BI and Tableau and Python / scripting
• Experience with automation principles and tools such as Ansible, Selenium, or similar technologies.
• Exposure to AI technologies and AI-driven automation/observability.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products including Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Word.
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools, particularly Tableau and Power BI.
• Experience with mainframe technologies.
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability platforms beyond Splunk and AppDynamics.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range: $45/hr to $50/hr
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
