Job Description
The Physical Education, Recreation and Athletics Department (PERA) is seeking an individual with experience in working within a community of diverse students and colleagues. Successful candidates will by their administrative, coaching, leadership or service demonstrate they can contribute to the diversity and excellence of athletics, the department and our community. PERA is currently accepting applications for a .40 FTE appointment as Assistant Diving Coach. This is a part-time faculty position. No benefits are included. Position may be reappointed on an annual basis. The salary is $10,400 with the potential to teach a PE class for an additional $2,000. This nine month position may be re-appointed on an annual basis.

Responsibilities: Directly responsible for the development of a season long diving program, including the development of successful and challenging practices, meet preparation, and the personal development of the student athletes. A trampoline, dry board and ceiling mounted rigging are available for training purposes . Actively involved in recruiting, fundraising, meet management and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach.

Start date is September 1, 2026

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree is required.
  • Lifeguard certification (including current CPR, AED, and First Aid)
  • valid driver's license and clearance to drive College vehicles is required upon hire.
  • Knowledge of Hy-Tech Meet Manager, Colorado System 6, E-Dive, and Display Link is preferred.
  • The successful candidate will have to complete a background check as a condition of employment.
