Job description:

As a Biller/Collector Your responsibilities will include:

Responsible for collecting payments on delinquent medical accounts by following up with patients and insurance payers, ensuring accurate billing, and resolving claim issues.

Key Duties

• Make outbound calls to patients and insurance companies to secure payments or set payment plans.
• Work with commercial insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid/Medi?Cal to resolve claim issues.
• Handle collections, follow-up, denial resolution, and account reconciliation.
• Ensure accurate, complete, and timely billing of inpatient and outpatient claims.
• Manage high-volume accounts and resolve complex billing problems.

This is a 12-month, Contract opportunity.

Ideal candidate must have:

• Strong Medi?Cal hospital billing experience (IP/OP).
• Knowledge of Medi?Cal guidelines, reimbursement rules, and timely filing.
• Proven experience in collections and denial management.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Range: $25 - $27 per hour.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
