The primary focus of the Business Analyst includes performing detailed requirement analysis including data modeling, documenting workflows and, business processes, and performing user acceptance testing. This role will implement complex strategic initiatives for improved efficiency and productivity for Ametros colleagues while enhancing Member Experience.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive identification of requirements across business units for strategic initiatives and projects.
  • Perform data analysis and modeling for proposed solutions.
  • Analyze and propose solutions across multiple business units and technical platforms.
  • Gather data, evaluate systems, and business processes to identify areas for optimization to drive efficiency and productivity in system integrations.
  • Document and communicate system requirements and regular updates.
  • Determine and develop user requirements for systems to maximize usability.
  • Work closely with department leaders to identify areas for growth with automation and AI support.
  • Participate in grooming or demo meetings to share ideas, findings and systems features and functionalities.
  • Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements by performing user acceptance testing.
  • Participate in investigation/triage of platform related problems reported by users/stakeholders.
REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 2-4 years' proven experience in business analytics, data analytics, or automation-based roles.
  • Strong plus - knowledge in one or more domain areas: Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE, healthcare insurance, workers compensation, claims processing, or pharmaceutical industry.
  • SQL proficiency preferred.
  • Highly proficient technical writing capabilities.
  • History of supporting successful projects.
  • Effective planner, communicator both verbal and written.
  • Strong ability to translate data or information into actionable items.
  • Excellent organization, documentation, and time management skills.
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving and change impact abilities.
  • Capable of working in fast paced environment.
  • Experience working with automation/AI - Copilot
  • Hands-on experience with JIRA ticket management system or similar.
  • Experience with Agile/SCRUM development.
  • Bachelor's degree in business analysis, business administration, IT or Computer Science.
The estimated salary range for this position is $70,000USD to $77,000USD. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
