As a member of the Applied AI team, our Business Operations Managers contribute to the achievement of organizational goals at the team, department, or function level through the management of multiple (often changing) objectives that span multiple domain areas (ex, project management, program management, data analysis, process improvement, business process analysis, communications and change management, etc.).

Qualifications:

The Business Operations Manager II would have a Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Operations Research, Computer Science or related field and 12+ years of experience in business operations, data analysis, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Advance Degree preferred.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Advance analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively organize, plan, prioritize, and complete deliverables.
  • Broad organizational knowledge and business sense, and knowledge and understanding of health care operations and administration
  • Ability to communicate and present information effectively, verbally and in writing, with all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically and articulate complex ideas.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate or coordinate activities or projects, including the ability to identify business requirements, resolve issues, and build consensus among groups of diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to collaborate with team members and stakeholders to define, develop, and deliver analytics that meet the needs of the business to manage routine operations, identify tactical decisions, and inform strategic direction.
  • Experience with AI tools and technologies to enhance productivity and decision-making in professional settings highly desired
  • Mastery analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and facilitation skills, ability to communicate complex ideas in clear, succinct terms; able to establish strong partnerships at various levels in the organization and to influence decision making.
  • Expertise in managing and improving end to end, cross functional business processes, projects or initiatives at a divisional level.
  • Strong personal presence and comfortable presenting to executive level management.
  • Conceptualizes solutions in new ways to complex problems; readily anticipates problems and identifies solutions.
  • Repeated success with communicating the most complex issues with great skill and precision - at all levels in the organization.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and expertise of business/healthcare principles and concepts and high level of proficiency across multiple business functions.
  • Highly sought after by the business to provide a wide depth and breadth of consultation, education, and influence in the business.

What You Will Do at Cambia:

  • Maintain, and evolve Cambia's Responsible AI framework aligned with healthcare regulatory requirements and industry best practices
  • Translate federal and state healthcare AI regulations into Rai operational policies and procedures
  • Conduct AI risk assessments and compliance reviews for new AI initiatives
  • Monitor emerging healthcare AI regulations and update framework accordingly
  • Partner with Legal and Compliance to ensure regulatory adherence
  • Lead response development for AI-related RFPs and surveys
  • Maintain knowledge base of AI vendor landscape and capabilities
  • Develop thought leadership content on healthcare AI governance
  • Represent Cambia at industry forums on responsible AI and healthcare regulation
  • Create executive reports on AI compliance status and regulatory landscape
  • Develop training materials on responsible AI practices
  • Ensure AI program documentation meets audit and compliance requirements
  • Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and metrics to track key performance indicators (KPIs).

The expected hiring range for a Business Operations Manager II is $128K - $160K/year depending on skills, experience, education, and training; relevant licensure / certifications; and performance history. The bonus target for this position is 15%. The current full salary range for this role is $128K - $208K/year.
