CLINICAL ASSISTANT II FOR SOCIAL SERVICES: SUPPORTING CHILD & ADOLESCENT PSYCHIATRY
About the Clinical Assistant II Job
- Status/schedule: full-time, 40 hours/week, Days, Monday-Friday.
- Location: Lindner Center of Hope. Training will be completed at College Hill.
- Base Pay: $20.57-25.72 per hour (grade 5).
- Benefits begin immediately.
- Paid time off: 25 days per year.
Clinical Assistant II Job Responsibilities:
- Work alongside our Social Workers.
- Schedule after-care appointments for each patient before discharge.
- Collaborate with agencies to find resources for patients and families.
- Complete follow-up discharge calls to families/patients that were recently discharged.
Qualifications:
- To be considered, candidates must have two years of previous related experience.
- Healthcare and/or social services experience is highly desired.
About the Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at College HillCincinnati Children's College Hill Campus houses three
residential units with a 30-bed capacity. As the only residential treatment facility integrated into a pediatric-focused hospital in Ohio, we help youth manage their mental illness by making healthy decisions, expressing emotions through appropriate communication and behaviors, and increasing their ability to live healthy and productive lives.
Inpatient Psychiatry has acute crisis units focused on stabilizing patients, most of whom stay an average of three to five days. In total, our hospital has 92 inpatient beds available to serve youth ages 2-18, who are experiencing a mental health crisis.
About the Division of Social ServicesWe understand that managing any type of illness or hospitalization is a stressful experience. As members on every medical team, the Division of Social Services provides ongoing support and counseling, crisis intervention, advocacy, education, and connection to community resources.
