Our client is seeking (2) experienced CNC Set-Up Operators to join their growing manufacturing teams. This role is responsible for setting up and operating CNC machine tools, ensuring quality standards are met, troubleshooting production issues, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced in precision machining, and enjoys working in a team-focused environment.
Location: Nashua, NH
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Shifts: 1st: 7am-3:30pm | 2nd: 3:30pm-12:00am
Pay: $25-$28/hour (depends on experience & shift)
Job duties include but not limited to:
- Set up CNC machines using blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
- Determine appropriate tooling, feeds, speeds, and machining sequences.
- Perform first-piece inspections and verify parts meet specifications.
- Install and change tooling, fixtures, and work-holding devices as needed.
- Monitor production and make machine adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Conduct secondary setups and ensure production readiness.
- Train and support machine operators after setup completion.
- Use measuring and inspection tools to verify part dimensions and quality.
- Identify and report equipment issues, production concerns, and safety hazards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of CNC machining or manufacturing experience.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience using precision measuring equipment including:
- Micrometers
- Calipers
- Height gauges
- Dial indicators
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Background check & Drug test required (excludes THC)
