Summary:

Resurgent is looking for a visual storyteller to join our HR team as a Video Production & Editing Specialist Co-Op. This six-month position is ideal for a dedicated professional or advanced student who strives to create video content. The specialist role will be focused on a project that delivers videos for internal promotions and educational purposes. You will be responsible for capturing high-quality footage and transforming it into polished, engaging stories that align with our unique company brand. From concept to the product, you will be a part of the entire creative life cycle. This position will report to the Sr. Business Partner of Human Resources.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead and assist with field and studio shoots, including camera setup, lighting, and audio recording.
  
• Edit raw footage into high-impact videos (promos, interviews, or educational content).
  
• Create simple but effective text overlays, transitions, and basic animations to enhance visual appeal.
  
• Organize and archive project files, raw footage, and finalize assets.
  
• Work closely with the Human Resources team to storyboard ideas and ensure a consistent "look and feel."
  

Skills & Qualifications:

• Advanced knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically Premiere Pro and After Effects). Could have advanced knowledge of other comparable video editing software.
  
• Hands-on experience with cameras, various lens types, gimbal stabilizers, and professional audio gear.
  
• A strong portfolio demonstrating a mastery of composition, pacing, color theory, and sound design.
  
• 3+ years of equivalent professional experience in videography and editing.
  

Educational Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a 4-year degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or a related field
