Responsibilities
- Lead the color mastering process from design hand-off through to production approval for all A-surface materials.
- Conduct thorough physical sample reviews and visual alignment sessions across various materials.
- Establish and manage master color and finish standards for cross-functional reference.
- Resolve color matching and visual quality issues promptly by partnering with suppliers and internal teams.
- Collaborate closely with designers, engineering, and quality teams to ensure alignment and manufacturability.
- Engage in new color technology research, finish testing, and material innovation with R&D.
- Systematically document approvals and standards for repeatable processes.
Skills - Strong proficiency in color development and material specification with exceptional visual sensitivity.
- Experience in evaluating various materials and visual quality control processes.
- Solid understanding of color matching processes and manufacturing tolerances.
- Effective communication skills, with experience in leading reviews and negotiation.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
Preferred Skills - Experience in the automotive, powersports, or consumer products fields.
- Knowledge of visual evaluation tools like light booths and spectrophotometers.
- Interest in new color technology and research.
