Job Details:
This position is responsible for assisting with the management of the day-to-day operations of the Hatchery Feed Mill, Transportation, or Production Complex.
Responsibilities include maintaining official records and performing administrative and supervisory support for the location manager; reviewing and setting production schedules; creating, maintaining, and approving weekly work schedules (including vacations and leaves of absence); managing the SAP Purchase Order System; administering the safety program; and performing all other duties as required by management.
Responsibilities

- Maintain official records and provide administrative supervisory support to the location manager
- Review and set production schedules
- Create, maintain, and approve weekly work schedules, including vacations and LOAs
- Manage and process transactions within the SAP Purchase Order System
- Administer the safety program
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
RequirementsExperience
- Experienced position requiring thorough knowledge of the work area
- Typically requires an Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5+ years of related experience
Accountability Role
- Provides coordination and support for moderately complex assignments within a department or group
- Works under general supervision with some independence
- Requires comprehensive knowledge of how departmental operations impact other related work units
- Provides tactical guidance or recommendations to internal and external customers to resolve issues within established guidelines
- Strong customer service skills required
Computer Skills
- Standard computer skills required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Supervisory ResponsibilitiesTravelBiosecurity RequirementsThe job site is a biosecurity environment requiring showering before entering the facility and may require multiple showers during the workday. Appropriate clothing and footwear are provided by the Company. No jewelry may be worn on the job site except for medical ID jewelry. Team members must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid contact with any avian species (including chickens, ducks, and other birds). The Company Animal Welfare Policy must be followed at all times.
