Diesel Fleet Service Advisor - Days

Hours will be: Monday - Friday from 9am to 5:30pm

Starting rate of pay will be: $30 - $40/hour *depending on related experience*

Description: The Service Advisor acts as a liaison between the Transportation Team and Fleet Repair Technicians.

Essential Duties:

• Fields calls for service, breakdowns, and schedules preventative maintenance appointments
• Greets drivers upon arrival to the Fleet service center
• Accepts vehicles for repairs
• Notes damage or other driver concerns
• Provides estimated repair time to Fleet Maintenance Manager
• Update daily out of service reports
• Assigns vehicles to appropriate/available technicians
• Builds repair orders in TMW/TTP
• Maintain established parts inventory
• Order parts and complete cycle counts as needed
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of related experience
• Customer service skills
• Oral and written communication skills
• Ability to handle complex issues and problems
• Must be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which are subject to evenings, weekends, holidays, and travel when needed
