Job Description
Hendrickson is searching for an Engineer to join their Current Products Applications Group at their Woodridge, IL Technical Center.
This engineer will oversee and maintain processes for fabrication, machining and/or assembly of products and product components for the facility.
Essential Functions:
- Manage all technical aspects of a major project and / or multiple smaller projects, utilizing the Product Planning and Development Procedure.
- Design, validate, provide test reports and sign off documents, and ensure production readiness.
- Coordinate with CAD, FEA, and laboratory personnel and interface with other departments in support of the above.
- Exposure to NX desirable.
- Coordinate the technical design and test aspects on project with suppliers and customers.
- Provide continuous improvement through employee development, process improvement, and elimination of waste; help to assure safety in the lab and office.
- Support customers with resolutions to concerns and enhancements for existing applications.
- All other duties as assigned.
Education and Training - Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline required. BSME, BSAgE preferred.
- Training in computer aided drafting techniques.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
Minimum Qualifications - 1+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
- Suspension System knowledge preferred.
- Exposure to vehicle dynamics and vibration and controls desirable.
- Background in developing product evaluations based on analysis data.
- Good Communication Skills.
- Hands-on, systematic individual.
- Mechanical aptitude, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Results oriented with a strong sense of personal responsibility.
- Professionalism and integrity to communicate and work with employees at all levels of the organization.

In accordance with applicable pay transparency laws, the salary range for this position is $80 ,000-$135,000 . Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, qualifications, and other job-related criteria. This pay range is provided to ensure transparency and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
