Volt is immediately hiring an entry level Supplier Technical Quality Engineer in San Diego, CA.

As a Supplier Technical Quality Engineer, you will:

• Supporting the resolution of quality issues and processes for the supply function in the organization
• Provides conclusions and recommendations for quality issues and/or continuous quality improvement projects.
• Participates in supplier quality improvement initiatives; works with suppliers to develop and improve quality levels.
• Ensures the reliability and quality of suppliers, implementing process controls, certification programs, evaluations, inspections, corrective actions, audits and records.
• Identifies quality problem(s) and determines a short-term and long-term action plan with the organization and the supplier.
• Utilizes quality processes to qualify new products.

This is a full-time long-term opportunity, with strong potential to go temp to hire at any time.

Schedule: Hours are Monday to Friday from 8am - 5pm, requiring you work full time onsite at the facility.

Requirements:

• A completed Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aviation Engineering or related
• 1 -2 years of work experience in related field is preferred
• An internship in quality engineer or quality management or QMS experience at the minimum is preferred
• Superior communication skills

Pay Rate: $ 30.00-$40.00 Per Hour DOE

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
