ERS Payment Specialist

This role is responsible for timely and accurate payments to our Emergency Roadside Service providers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Process daily invoices from providers in ERS payment system.
• Perform daily audits of ERS transactions to ensure compliance with contracts and business rules.
• Process, prepare, and distribute payments twice a month.
• Maintain proper records and documentation of all payments to providers.
• Resolve payment discrepancies with service providers.
• Assist other departments with researching and resolving ERS issues.
• Responsible for updating and maintaining provider contracts in ERS back-office system.
• Collaborate with Automotive Services team members for any issues or updates to the ERS Network.
• Assist with special projects on an as-needed basis.
• Contributes to a positive team dynamic through respectful interactions, positive contributions, and active collaboration to achieve department and organizational goals.
• Incorporates AAA's vision, mission and values in day-to-day activities and behaviors; guides and motivates others to remain committed to AAA's vision mission and values.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ year experience in office support or administrative field
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Associate Degree (AA) in business or related field preferred
• 1+ year experience in automotive or roadside delivery industry preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
• Competent in MS Office, including Excel, and navigating the internet.
• Competent at navigating various business systems and programs, including online mapping applications
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong arithmetic skills
• Ability to handle confidential documents and information.
• Ability to address multiple demands and competing priorities in a changing environment.
• Skilled at working independently; able to prioritize and complete assignments with minimal direction.
• Skilled in handling urgent situations professionally and willing to take extra measures when solving problems.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing, including effective use of listening skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
