Structures/Composites Technician

$21.63 - $30.28/Hour

Responsibilities:

• Perform composite lay-up, fabrication, and structural assembly
• Assemble precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components
• Install wire harnesses and avionics systems
• Execute surface preparation, chemical treatments, and paint/coating processes
• Apply protective coatings for corrosion resistance and finish requirements
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and production orders
• Work on assemblies of moderate complexity following established procedures
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and production standards
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• 1+ year of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3+ months in aerospace, manufacturing, or fabrication environments
• Experience working with safety, quality, and production metrics
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles (5S, standard work, continuous improvement)
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings and work instructions
• Ability to operate hand tools and power tools
• Willingness to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime
• Ability to perform physical tasks including climbing, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 35 lbs
