Role SummaryThe Maintenance Technician supports the day-to-day operation of our properties and facilities across Illinois and Indiana. This role is responsible for general upkeep, preventative maintenance, and repairs while coordinating with contractors to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to standard. This is a full-time position with a 40-45 hour workweek and occasional on-call or flexible support.
What You'll Do
- Maintain facilities and grounds through tasks such as landscaping, painting, light carpentry, and general upkeep.
- Perform preventative maintenance on building systems, equipment, irrigation, and company vehicles.
- Identify maintenance issues early and complete repairs or coordinate with outside contractors as needed.
- Manage tools, equipment, and maintenance supply inventory to keep workspaces organized and functional.
- Document maintenance activities, follow safety protocols, and communicate effectively with internal teams.
What You'll Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Some trade or maintenance experience, with on-the-job training provided.
- Basic knowledge of building systems, tools, and general repair techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements
- Regular standing, walking, sitting, climbing, reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to complete all physical requirements of the role with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Frequent exposure to wet or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and outdoor environments.
- Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures and elevated work areas.
- Moderate noise levels in a production-focused manufacturing environment.
