Title: Financial Analyst
Location: Hybrid - Atlanta, GA (onsite 3 days/week)
Duration: 4 months
Rate: Hourly - All Inclusive (Local Required)
Alignment: W2 or C2C

Overview

The Junior Financial Analyst will support the finance team by performing financial analysis, preparing reports, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities. This role is ideal for an early-career finance professional with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience working with financial data in SAP.

Description:

• Analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
• Review cost variances, identify trends, and provide basic analysis of financial results.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Enter, review, and extract financial data using SAP.
• Support budgeting and forecasting by collecting data and performing variance analysis.
• Maintain financial reports, spreadsheets, and supporting documentation.
• Work with internal departments to ensure financial data accuracy.
• Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• Financial analysis or accounting experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and cost analysis.
• Experience with SAP is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
