A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Financial Analyst.

Position Type: Full time, Contract to Hire
Duration: 12months
Location: Lynchburg, VA 24501 (Onsite/1st Shift)

As a Financial Analyst you will:

• The FP&A Finance Sr. Assoc will play a critical role in monthly closing and reporting processes, corporate schedule submissions, Budget Planning, driving process efficiencies, special projects, and any ad-hoc analysis needed through use of data application/tools.
• This individual is expected to contribute strong communication skills along with knowledge in financial reporting, budgeting, analytics, and processes to contribute towards Division goals.

Essential Functions:

• Execute financial reporting with accuracy and timeliness to meet month-end/quarter-end closing requirements
• Support completion of PSPC Corporate Finance Schedules and submit to FP&A Manager for review and consolidation of Financial Reporting
• Partner with Functional Leaders across the business to maintain Capital Acquisition Forecasting in support of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
• Execute on Capital Requests to support the business needs through financial analysis and form submissions to request spend.
• Support FP&A Manager in day to day recurring reports, requests, around Headcount, Utilization, and Department budgets
• Participate in Revenue Calls to upkeep financial forecast for Products Portfolio and weekly Pacing updates
• Assist with special projects and ad hoc analyses as required

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
• 2-4 years Accounting Systems (ERP/GL) Experience
• 2-4 years demonstrated proficiency in Excel (Intermediate skills)
• Experience with bolt-on data analytics and process tools (Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau, etc)

• Experience and strength in presentations to leadership level

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $35-$38/hr
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
