Freight Optimization Analyst

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Freight Optimization Analyst

Position type: Full-time, Contract to possible extension or hire
Duration: 6 months
Location: Orlando, FL
Shift: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

As a Freight Optimization Analyst,you will:

• Support freight optimization initiatives through analysis of transportation and logistics data
• Maintain freight reporting dashboards and metrics related to transportation cost, service levels, and carrier performance
• Analyze freight cost trends and assist with identifying cost reduction opportunities
• Prepare operational reports to support supply chain and logistics decision making
• Assist with monitoring freight budget performance and reporting variances
• Support freight invoice validation and resolution of discrepancies with carriers or freight forwarders
• Assist with Duty Drawback documentation preparation and regulatory compliance activities
• Maintain transportation related operational procedures and documentation
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within logistics and supply chain operations
• Assist with internal and external audits related to freight operations and transportation compliance
• Collaborate with logistics, procurement, repair shops, finance, and supply chain teams to support transportation execution

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain or industrial engineering, or related field with a minimum of 1-2 years of work experience or 4 years' experience and education in lieu of degree may be considered.
• Experience with Power BI is a mandatory requirement.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations
• Ability to analyze operational data and produce actionable reports
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP preferred
• Basic knowledge of transportation processes including carriers, freight services, and shipping documentation

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $25.00/hr to $30.00/hr
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
