Job Description

UESI is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to support our growing workforce in Fort Pierce, FL. This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys balancing employee support, recruiting coordination, onboarding, compliance, and administrative HR functions. The successful candidate will play a key role in attracting top talent while ensuring a positive employee experience throughout the employment lifecycle. Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition & Recruiting:

  • Partner with hiring managers to support recruiting efforts across multiple departments.
  • Source, screen, and coordinate candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Schedule interviews and maintain communication with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Conduct reference checks, background screenings, and pre-employment activities.
  • Participate in career fairs, networking events, and workforce development initiatives.

Human Resources Coordination:
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation activities.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure HR documentation is accurate and compliant.
  • Assist employees with HR-related questions regarding policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Support employee engagement programs and company initiatives.
  • Assist with HR reporting, audits, and compliance activities.
  • Coordinate training assignments and maintain training records.
  • Support benefits enrollment and employee life cycle processes, including status changes and offboarding.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in human resources, recruiting, or a related administrative role.
  • Experience coordinating full-cycle recruiting activities preferred.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and recruiting processes.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience with UKG Ready is preferred.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.


Requirements

  • Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for final consideration
  • Read, write, and understand plans and directions given in the English language
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, create Outlook emails and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to communicate with other team members
  • Able to wear GPI required PPE, i.e., hard hats, safety vest, work boots, and/or safety glasses/goggles while working
