A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Checkmarx Engineer.

Duration: 12+ months
Location: Charlotte, NC- 3 days hybrid on-site role
As a Checkmarx Engineer, you will:
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Serve as the technical authority for Checkmarx architecture, including deployment patterns, scalability models, and operational constraints across on?prem, cloud, and containerized environments.
- Lead and take accountability for the end-to-end migration strategy, design, execution, and post-migration validation of the Checkmarx platform.
- Conduct detailed research, analysis, and solution design to ensure the target-state architecture meets performance, stability, security, and compliance requirements.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership during migration activities, including planning, environment readiness, configuration, testing, and cutover execution.
- Minimize reliance on internal teams having to rapidly learn OpenShift (OCP)-specific Checkmarx nuances under tight delivery timelines by acting as the primary subject matter expert.
- Identify and proactively mitigate technical risks related to platform performance, data integrity, security vulnerabilities, and service availability.
- Ensure alignment with DCMS mandates and regulatory requirements, increasing stakeholder confidence that compliance objectives will be met without service disruption.
- Collaborate closely with security, infrastructure, platform, and application teams to ensure seamless integration and operational readiness.
- Define and enforce best practices, standards, and documentation for Checkmarx deployments and migrations.
The ideal candidate will have: - Experience with Checkmarx architecture, components, and deployment patterns.
- Understanding of container platforms (Red Hat OpenShift preferred) and complex enterprise migrations.
- Experience leading large-scale, mission-critical platform migrations with minimal or zero downtime.
- Background in application security, performance optimization, and platform hardening.
- Problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills under tight timelines.
- Communication and stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to clearly articulate technical risks and trade-offs.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $60 - $65 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
