Inside Sales Representative

Job Summary

Responsible for the development and maintenance of selected domestic accounts. This position will also be responsible for the backup of other domestic and international sales representatives. This position includes customer relationship management, quoting, pricing and follow up along with business development with new and existing accounts. This position may require domestic travel at times. This position relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Function in the Job

Sedentary Work- Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
Job Function

Qualifications:

• The qualified candidate will have a BS in Engineering, Marketing or Sales.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience including manufacturing experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to work with Engineering & Manufacturing personnel to achieve customer solutions and sales growth
• Strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent team building and communication skills (departmental and cross-functional)
• Strong MS Office and ERP systems (Epicor a plus) product skills
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Ability to identify new opportunities and convert to sales.
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
