Meet the Team
We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Analyst and Planner to join our medical device manufacturing organization in a fully remote capacity. This role is pivotal in assisting the Team in designing, maintaining, and optimizing IT infrastructure to support manufacturing, applications, R&D, information security, regulatory compliance, and other business areas in a highly regulated industry. The successful candidate will leverage expertise in planning & organizing, financial analysis, vendor management, and IT risk management to ensure scalable, secure, and cost-effective systems that align with business objectives and industry standards.
Where you come in:

You plan and maintain a strategic IT infrastructure roadmap spanning servers, networks, cloud platforms, and data storage to support manufacturing, applications, R&D, information security, and regulatory needs.

You collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align infrastructure capabilities with business priorities and the medical device lifecycle.

You lead financial analysis for infrastructure initiatives, including CapEx/OpEx planning, budgeting, forecasting, and ROI evaluation.

You evaluate vendors by assessing technical fit, cost, risk, and regulatory compliance, and you support contract and SLA negotiations.

You establish operating mechanisms by facilitating planning sessions, leading strategic workshops, and developing KPIs to measure performance, cost efficiency, uptime, and compliance.

You identify and mitigate IT risks, including cybersecurity, data integrity, and system reliability risks, ensuring compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, and other regulations.

You manage infrastructure projects such as upgrades, migrations, and new deployments, coordinating remotely to meet timelines and budgets.

You ensure audit readiness by maintaining clear documentation, risk assessments, vendor evaluations, and financial justifications.
What makes you successful:

You bring strong technical knowledge of IT infrastructure domains including virtualization, networking, storage, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

You have experience supporting manufacturing environments, with familiarity in systems such as MES and ERP (e.g., Oracle EBS).

Your financial acumen enables you to perform cost modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and ROI analysis for infrastructure investments.

You are skilled in vendor management, including evaluating solutions, negotiating agreements, and monitoring vendor performance.

You understand IT risk management, cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001), and business continuity planning within regulated environments.

You are highly organized, with proven ability to plan, prioritize, and deliver infrastructure initiatives across multiple stakeholders.

You communicate effectively in a fully remote environment, influencing technical teams, business leaders, and external partners.

Nice to have: Certifications such as PMP, Scrum/Agile, ITIL, or equivalent experience.

Travel Required: Experience and Education Requirements:- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 8-12 years related experience or Master's degree and 5-7 years equivalent industry experience or a PhD and 2-4 years of experience.
Remote Workplace: Your location will be a home office; you are not required to live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km). If you reside within commuting distance of a Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km) a hybrid working environment may be available. Salary:
$116,600.00 - $194,400.00
