Monitor employees' use of safety glasses, steel toe boots, and other required personal protective equipment. Monitor 5S / general housekeeping to encourage a safer working environment.
Perform periodic EHS inspections in accordance with Heico and other regulatory policies. Escalate all unsafe conditions so they can be promptly addressed.
Direct employees to build quality into the machine the first time. Use root cause analysis methodology for daily problem solving and implementing countermeasures to prevent recurrence.
Perform direct and indirect labor duties as required by the Supervisor.
Direct the flow of material to the production line.
Perform daily continuous improvement to improve shop floor processes and culture.
Assist in training team members in assembly or material distribution processes.
Document build process and ensure correct work sequence is being followed. Periodically audit standard work.
