Position Overview
Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated Legal Admin/Paralegal to join their client's team in Greensboro, North Carolina. This full-time, in-office position requires a professional who can effectively support litigation teams across a broad range of tasks, ensuring smooth operations within a fast-paced legal environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide litigation support across a broad range of tasks, including assisting attorneys with litigation projects throughout all phases of litigation and trial preparation.
- Prepare and file legal documents with state and federal courts.
- Manage discovery tasks including electronic discovery and document organization.
- Perform calendaring, docketing, and deadline tracking.
- Assist with pleadings, motions, affidavits, exhibits, and appellate filings.
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, court personnel, mediators, and opposing counsel.
- Proofread briefs and other legal materials.
- Perform administrative duties as needed to support litigation teams.
- Sending out letters
- Ordering lunch for team when they are in office for remediation
- Ordering office supplies
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a law firm or legal office (non-negotiable).
- Prior litigation experience strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal software.
- Paralegal certification preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Understanding of Odyssey State Court filing for NC
- Preferred to have experience with federal filings
Required Work HoursFull-time, in office, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch break.
Compensation$55,000-$75,000 per year, non-exempt, based on experience.
Additional DetailsMax Pay is $75,000 depending on experience. Min Pay is $55,000.
