Position summary
The Legal Recruiting Specialist will work with our Lateral Partner Recruiting team a cross our U.S. offices. This role will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team dedicated to providing support to our Lateral Partner Recruiting activities and will work closely with our Global Director of Legal Recruiting and Assistant Director of US Lateral Partner Recruiting. Recruiting duties include, but are not limited to, coordination of the lateral partner recruitment process and support of other Legal Recruiting tasks as necessary.
Job duties and responsibilities
- Supports recruitment of partners and counsel, including individuals and groups.
- Schedules initinal screening and full interview rounds, coordinating and rescheduling as needed, monitors daily interview calendars, greets candidates upon arrival if needed, and confirms timely connections with interviewers.
- Clearly communicates interview details and updates with search firms/applicants and interview teams.
- Input new applicant data into viRecruit, update applicant data and upload updated documents on a regular basis. Create applicant folders and upload necessary emails and documents in Digital File.
- Prepare applicant materials to distribute as requested.
- Liaise with local office services to reserve conference rooms and required IT and catering set ups needed for in-person interviews.
- Maintain partner recruiting reports
- Assist with preparation of candidate offer documents and documents related to Executive Committee presentation.
- Assist with conducting candidate diligence as needed.
- Provide support to local offices with associate and law student recruiting/summer program when needed.
- Accepts assignments and direction from senior team members, proactively seeks guidance when needed, and shadows experienced colleagues on tasks such as phone calls or meetings to build fluency in recruiting best practices.
- Engages with attorneys to develop productive relationships across the firm.
- Understands Firm systems, policies and procedures and future goals in order to troubleshoot questions, problems or concerns.
- Works closely with other service departments (Payroll, Benefits, L&D and IT) and other HR personnel in other offices.
- Other Firmwide special projects as assigned.

Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in a professional discipline required.
Experience: Zero to two (0-2) years of prior administrative law firm or professional experience required. Should have a demonstrated understanding of current market trends and philosophies.
Skills: Requires strong organizational skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, good judgment, a professional demeanor and the ability to provide an excellent first impression of the Firm. Must work well with all levels of Firm personnel, establish effective working relationships throughout the Firm and react to difficult situations appropriately. Confidentiality is essential. Must be highly motivated, creative, flexible, adaptable to change and results-oriented. Must have strong knowledge of MS Offices products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Working conditions You will be required to work in the office at minimum 4 days per week. Occasionally called upon to work hours in excess of your normal daily schedule. The details of your weekly schedule will be discussed further with your direct supervisor.
Pay ranges This is a non-exempt position. The hourly wage range for this role is $31.25 to $36.05, with an estimated annual compensation range of $65,000 to $75,000, based on a 40-hour workweek. This represents the currently anticipated pay range for this position. Actual compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, location, experience, and qualifications.
