JOB DESCRIPTION

ArborOne Farm Credit provides loans to farmers and rural residents in 12 counties in the Pee Dee region of South Carolina. We are a cooperative, which means we are in business to benefit our customer-owners. ArborOne strives to remain the lender of choice dedicated to providing agricultural lending and farm related services to rural families within our territory. We are also part of the nationwide Farm Credit System, a financial cooperative owned by its member-borrowers that has been serving the credit needs of rural South Carolina since 1916.

Position Summary:
ArborOne Farm Credit is seeking a Loan Assistant to deliver exceptional operational and administrative support with confidence and efficiency. This front-facing role is key to ensuring a positive experience for both internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary front desk representative for the Florence office
• Greet and assist customers, answer basic inquiries about loan products, and capture customer leads
• Research and relay customer information and service requests
• Post payments and process loan draw requests
• Maintain and update customer accounts
• Scan and organize loan documents
• Perform general administrative and clerical duties as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or equivalent relevant experience in a professional office environment
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in agriculture
• Previous customer service and banking experience
