As a Machinist, you will:

Responsibilities:

• The Precision Meso-scale Technology Center (PMTC) located on Client's campus in Santa Rosa, CA, exists to provide mechanical solutions that enable the capabilities of Client's industry-leading electronic measurement equipment.
• As a machinist, you will develop and sustain machining processes utilizing cutting-edge machine tools such as Swiss Style Lathes, Single and Multi-Turret Lathes, and 3 to 5 axis Milling centres.
• Working closely with R&D on microwave applications, you will influence designs for mechanical components and assemblies, ensure design for manufacturability, facilitate release and support production.

Skills:

• Client is looking for a highly motivated individual with a desire to learn advanced machining skills.
• This position will require a Career level Machinist with a knack for precision and detail.
• Must have the willingness to learn, strong teamwork, positive attitude, dedication, and job flexibility are a must.
• In addition, you will interface with Engineering, Maintenance, and Management as well as production/NPI Schedulers.

Experience with any/all of the following is highly desired:

• 3 to 5 axis milling.
• Swiss Style Lathes.
• Mill/Turn Machine Centre.
• Advanced Metrology.
• CNC Programming/CAM Programming Software.
• CAD/Solid Modelling.
• Tool Grinding.
• Interpreting specifications, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

Schedule: Monday - Friday (business hours)

Location: Santa Rosa, CA 95403

Payrate Range in Between - $35 - $40/hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
