Job Details:
This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing, keeping machinery running, preventative maintenance, all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Identifies all parts, supplies and services required to maintain equipment in assigned area and completes work orders in a timely manner meeting or exceeding pre-established deadlines to reduce downtime and meet production goals.
Starting pay rate: $22.90/hour + $2.00 shift differential
Pay will be based on qualifications and experience level.
Work schedule: Varies per department
Must identify all parts, supplies and services required to maintain equipment in assigned area and completes work orders in a timely manner meeting or exceeding pre-established deadlines to reduce downtime and meet production goals. This position requires lifting, reaching, rotating, walking, climbing, bending, and squatting throughout the shift. Work environment is cold, hot, wet, dusty, and noisy. Must be able to use basic hand and power tools to include drills, grinders, drill press, band saws, multi-meter, and other tools.
Requirements:
6 months industrial maintenance experience.
This position is being hired with the expectation of overlapping responsibilities in anticipation of a current team member's potential departure. If the incumbent team member does not leave, the selected candidate may be reassigned to a comparable role or placed in a general labor position, based on operational needs.
