Volt is immediately hiring for Maintenance Mechanics in American Canyon.
As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for:
- Learning how basic production equipment operates and being able to explain its function to others.
- Following Kan?Ban procedures and inventory control protocols to ensure materials are properly stocked and rotated.
- Demonstrating a basic understanding of mechanical systems and equipment functions.
- Applying basic knowledge of lubrication practices and lube requirements.
- Reporting issues accurately and completing documentation through the work?order system (digital or paper?based).
- Performing basic mechanical preventive maintenance (PM) tasks and understanding their importance to equipment reliability and safety.
- Completing minor plumbing repairs as needed.
- Maintaining clear communication with the Supervisor or Lead and performing additional duties as assigned.
This is a full-time opportunity. Shift time- 1st or 2nd shift - 1st Shift- 4:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- 2nd shift - 2:30 PM - 12:00 AM
The ideal candidate will have: - Experience in Pneumatics and hydraulics
- Excellent Safety and Attendance Record
- Ability to read and write in English
- Willing and able to learn all aspects of master repair and production
- Basic mathematical skills
- Time management skills
- Initiates action
- Desire to learn and advance within the company
- Flexible- must be able to work any shift, overtime and weekends
Pay Rate: $24.00/hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
