Your Role:
The Maintenance Technician 3 will maintain and install equipment, facilities, and utility systems and provide leadership, expertise, and training to other department members, contractors, and technicians. This multi-skilled position will complete work orders that cross over traditional disciplines. Several of the key responsibilities included with this role are:
- Lay out, fabricate, and assemble pipe systems from blueprints, using tools (saws, benders) and techniques (welding, brazing, soldering, threading)
- Fabricate or repair parts by operating machine shop tools (lathe, mill, shear, press); troubleshoot and replace mechanical seals and bearings
- Troubleshoot and repair fluid/vacuum pumps, hydraulic/pneumatic control systems, power transmission, and packaging equipment
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on boilers, diagnose steam trap problems, and operate/repair high purity water equipment
- Use the CMMS system to reconcile demand and preventative maintenance work orders
- Possess and maintain an applicable license (i.e., Boiler Operator's)
Who you are:Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Plumbing or Mechanical Engineering
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, plus organizational and 5S skills
- Ability to self-motivate and work independently
- Knowledge of good documentation practices
- Understanding of materials of construction and chemical compatibility
Pay Range for this position - $32.00-$50.00/hourly
The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
