What You Will Contribute:


At Badger Meter, we're committed to developing innovative smart water and flow measurement technologies that help communities use water more efficiently and sustainably. Now, we're looking for a Site Quality Manager to elevate our quality systems and help shape the future of our products, processes, and customer experience.

In this high-visibility role, you'll lead initiatives that strengthen product and process quality, support continuous improvement, and ensure alignment with our Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Environmental goals. You'll partner across multiple teams and sites, influencing everything from New Product Development to customer satisfaction.

What You'll Lead & Own
  • Champion and manage site quality systems, including Internal Audits, Calibration, NCMR/CAR/CAPA, and QAS standards.
  • Support New Product Development (NPD) and help shape SQDCE metrics.
  • Drive improvements in quality procedures, product design, and manufacturing processes.
  • Train and coach teams on APQP, problem-solving tools, MSA, capability studies, and other quality methodologies.
  • Mentor and develop quality team members to support long-term organizational growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, customers, and suppliers across multiple locations.
  • Foster a safe, efficient, continuous-improvement-driven environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in quality or engineering (preferred).
  • Lean Six Sigma practitioner - Black Belt preferred.
  • Experience with APQP, statistical techniques, failure analysis, and process validation.
  • Strong skills in MS Office and data tools such as Excel, MiniTab, PowerBI, and SQL.
  • Familiarity with ISO-based quality systems (ISO 9001, ISO 17025, AS9100).
  • Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to lead change, multitask, and work effectively across multiple sites.
