Job Description

GPI Geospatial is seeking a Marketing Assistant based out of our Orlando, FL, office. The Marketing Assistant supports the development and coordination of proposal responses (RFPs/RFQs), social media content, graphics, and other marketing collateral. This role works closely and collaboratively with Marketing, Business Development, and Project Management staff and is ideal for someone who brings a positive, team-oriented attitude, strong communication skills, and the initiative to step in and contribute as needed.

The Marketing Assistant reports to the Marketing Coordinator and collaborates daily with Project Managers, Business Development staff, and senior leadership to help present the firm's work clearly, creatively, and consistently. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the department in maintaining and creating proposal materials such as resumes and project sheets; this includes writing, editing, verifying information, and formatting content using Adobe InDesign.
  • Update and maintain marketing information in our database, Deltek VantagePoint.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and technical staff to assist in developing winning proposals, qualification packages, and award submittals.
  • Oversee the creation of social media (LinkedIn) content and schedule development, including brainstorming content ideas with team, graphic design, caption drafting, scheduling posts on LinkedIn, and reviewing monthly analytics.
  • Contributes to the professional trade show and conference coordination and preparation, such as registering attendees, booking accommodations, shipping conference materials, and communicating with event organizers and attendees.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in proposal coordination, preferably within the AEC industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), and Canva.
  • Background in graphic design, including layout, typography, and visual branding.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build positive working relationships.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills that allows you to communicate professionally internally and externally with clients, peers, and senior management.
  • Familiarity with video production is a plus.


Requirements

  • Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for final consideration
  • Read, write, and understand plans and directions given in the English language
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, create Outlook emails and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to
