Job Description
Area of Accountability:
Assist in the timely processing of all outbound material issues, incoming material receipts, and supply of necessary production parts to assigned areas of the plant.
Major Responsibilities:
- Transport production parts to assigned line using tow motor/lift truck
- Conduct all location transactions for parts delivered to warehouse and/or production lines
- Assist in resolving data accuracy problems associated with any warehouse transactions.
- Perform filing activities per departmental requirements.
- Assist in coordinating all quality discrepancies with purchasing and production scheduling personnel.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
- 1-year experience in manufacturing preferred
- Experience driving a tow motor preferred.
- Ability to interpret production schedules and build specifications.
- Ability to work overtime, as production demands require.
- Must be able to utilize torque wrenches according to specs.
- Must be mechanically inclined.
