Medical Waste/Sharps Plant Operator - 1st Shift 7AM to 3PM

We are looking to hire a Plant Operator for our Daniels' medical waste treatment facility in Easton, PA. A Plant Operator has a widely varying role, from loading/unloading containers, emptying and washing our containers, weighing and checking in our containers.

What will your job involve?
- Lifting 55lbs and push a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs
- Weigh incoming sharps and medical waste containers
- Load/operate our autoclave machine (a pressure chamber to melt materials)
- Load the Washsmart system (container washing + sanitization system)
- Provide attention to detail with the paperwork required to process containers
- Standing for extended periods of time happily and comfortably
- Working well with a team!
What are we looking for?
- Previous experience in a warehouse labor-intensive job (repetitive lifitng of 50lbs to 75lb containers!!)
- Basic math and ability to read/record weights accurately
- Familiarity with weighbridge/scale systems
- Comfort with repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and working in PPE
- Proven longevity with employers
- Can-do attitude!!
