Make a Difference as a Mental Health Technician - Supporting Youth in Crisis
Schedule: Weekend position - additional shift differentials plus hourly base rate
Join our compassionate care team at our acute psychiatric hospital for children and adolescents, where you'll help provide structured, trauma-informed support to individuals experiencing behavioral health challenges. As a Mental Health Technician, you'll play a hands-on role in helping young people feel safe, supported, and empowered on their wellness journey.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide age-appropriate care and emotional support to youth and adolescent patients
- Support daily routines and group activities in a structured treatment setting
- Monitor patient safety and well-being through direct engagement and observation
- Collaborate with clinical team members and contribute to individualized care plans
- Assist with patient transportation and participate in de-escalation when needed
- Complete educational activities to support your ongoing professional development
Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseHigh School/GED preferred
WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS At least one (1) year of psychiatric or hospital/nursing home experience preferred
