MEP Construction Sourcer

Job Description:

HITT Contracting is seeking a highly skilled and proactive MEP Construction Sourcer to join our growing recruitment team and support one of the most critical and specialized areas of our business. This role may be based out of our Headquarters in Falls Church, VA or in our Dallas, TX regional office. This role reports to HITT's Construction Recruiting Manager and will play an important role in elevating sourcing capability, market insight, and recruiting strategy across the broader team.

As HITT continues to expand its national footprint and take on increasingly complex projects within our Mission Critical portfolio, the demand for specialized mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) talent has grown significantly. This role is a key investment in strengthening our ability to identify, engage, and attract top-tier MEP professionals to support these projects across the country.

This position is designed to deepen our team's capability in proactive sourcing, market mapping, and pipeline development for hard-to-fill, high-impact roles. You will serve as a subject matter expert in the MEP talent market-bringing insight, strategy, and creativity to how we identify, engage, and ultimately hire specialized talent nationwide.

The ideal candidate brings prior recruiting and/or sourcing experience within the construction industry and has a strong interest or background in MEP or other technical disciplines. You are energized by the challenge of finding and engaging niche talent, particularly passive candidates, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. You are naturally curious, persistent, and relationship-driven, with strong judgment and the ability to build credibility with both candidates and hiring leaders.

HITT, founded in 1937 as a small family business, has grown into one of the nation's top 10 largest general contractors. With deep roots in the Washington, DC area and a rapidly expanding presence across the United States, HITT's growth is driven by our clients and built on strong, lasting relationships with partners and subcontractors. Today, our 2,200+ construction professionals deliver a full range of services, including base building construction, renovations, corporate interior fit-outs, service, and emergency work. With annual revenues of $13 billion, HITT is about more than construction-we are building dreams, shaping possibilities, and defining the places where people live, work, and connect.
