Job Description
Position Summary:
This position provides administrative support to local HR in areas such as front desk assistance, recruitment, orientation, training, communications and projects as needed. Eligible candidates must be currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program for Human Resources or related field.
Essential Functions:
Front desk duties and visitor assistance.
Support the HR department by performing general administrative duties such as scheduling interviews, pre-employment tests and other related activities.
Support HR with new hire orientation and training for personnel.
Order meals for meetings and other events as needed.
Education and Training:
Must be actively enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in HR or related business.
Minimum Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Human Resources or related field. Junior or Senior preferred with a minimum GPA of3.0/4.0.
Be available to work at least 20 hours per week.
Previous HR work experience preferred.
Professionalism and integrity to communicate and work with employees at all levels of the organization and maintain confidential information.
Knowledge of Human Resource Information Systems preferred
Capable of coordinating multiple projects at once
Results oriented with strong sense of personal responsibility
Good written and verbal communication skills
Physical Demands:
Long periods of sitting and desk work
