Network Engineer

Join a hands-on Network Engineer opportunity supporting enterprise switching and routing in a fast-paced environment. This 12-month role is ideal for someone who enjoys independently owning technical work, collaborating across teams, and keeping critical network infrastructure running smoothly.
Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain enterprise network devices across access and distribution layers.
• Provision and deploy Cisco Catalyst C9000 series switches and Cisco Catalyst C8000 series routers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Layer 1 through Layer 3 network issues using a structured OSI model approach.
• Document configurations, topology changes, and standard operating procedures clearly and thoroughly.
• Work independently on assigned initiatives while maintaining proactive communication with team members and cross-functional partners.
• Support ongoing network operations with a practical, solution-oriented mindset.

Skills

• Strong working knowledge of networking fundamentals with emphasis on OSI Layers 1-3.
• Hands-on experience configuring and deploying Cisco Catalyst C9000 series switches.
• Hands-on experience configuring and deploying Cisco Catalyst C8000 series routers.
• Experience supporting enterprise network equipment in access and distribution environments.
• Ability to diagnose issues methodically and solve problems with limited supervision.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Multi-Chassis EtherChannel (MEC) configuration.
• Exposure to SD-WAN deployment or administration.
• Background working in structured, documentation-driven engineering environments.
• Collaborative approach with a proactive, dependable work style.
