Meet the team:
Dexcom's Strategic Finance team helps shape the company's long-term growth agenda by translating complex business questions into clear, data-driven financial insights.
As Senior Analyst, Strategic Finance, you will play a key role in long-range planning, M&A financial modeling, and enterprise-wide strategic analysis-partnering across Finance, Corporate Development, Commercial, Product, Market Access, and executive leadership to evaluate where Dexcom goes next and how we get there.
Where you come in:
- You will build, maintain, and enhance global long-range planning models, including revenue, margin, market expansion, pricing, penetration, utilization, and retention assumptions.
- You will consolidate inputs across regions, functions, and business leaders into a unified financial view that supports executive-level planning discussions.
- You will develop dynamic financial models for strategic opportunities, including M&A transactions, valuation, accretion/dilution, scenario analysis, and synergy modeling.
- You will support due diligence efforts by analyzing financials, validating KPIs, pressure-testing assumptions, and identifying key risks and opportunities.
- You will evaluate new products, market entry opportunities, partnerships, and strategic investments through business case modeling and sensitivity analysis.
- You will translate complex analyses into clear, executive-ready insights, recommendations, and materials for senior leadership and board-level discussions.
- You will partner cross-functionally with Commercial, Product, Market Access, Corporate Development, and Finance teams to align assumptions and drive consistent decision-making.
- You will improve forecasting accuracy, model scalability, transparency, and auditability through automation, dashboards, and finance best practices.
What makes you successful:
- You bring advanced financial modeling skills, including operating models, valuation, DCF analysis, scenario planning, and sensitivity analysis.
- You are highly proficient in Excel and can build models that are accurate, scalable, transparent, and easy for business partners to understand.
- You have experience supporting strategic planning, long-range planning, corporate development, investment banking, or other finance-driven decision processes.
- You are comfortable working with ambiguity and can structure complex business questions into clear analytical frameworks.
- You communicate clearly and can translate detailed financial analysis into concise insights for senior leadership.
- You are a strong cross-functional partner who can align stakeholders around assumptions, tradeoffs, risks, and opportunities.
- Your experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau, market sizing, competitive intelligence, healthcare, medtech, M&A diligence, or post-merger integration is a plus.

Travel Required:Experience and Education Requirements:
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8-12 years of related experience.
- At this level a graduate degree may be desirable with 4 years of related experience.
Flex Workplace: Your primary location will be a home office. You will not have an assigned workstation and will work with your manager to determine office visit needs. You must live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km).

Salary:
$128,600.00 - $214,400.00
