Overview: ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work hybrid with our client. This Nuclear Project Manager III will lead and manage capital projects supporting outage and maintenance activities, overseeing planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, contract management, and project execution. The ideal candidate has experience managing full life cycle EPC projects, proficiency with Primavera P6, and strong knowledge of project management, EVM, and risk management principles. This role requires proven leadership, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to drive safe, compliant, and successful project delivery in a fast-paced nuclear, energy, or construction environment.
This full-time position is located in Richland, WA.
Pay rate: $58.9 - $103.44

Responsibilities: - Lead and manage small to medium-sized capital projects for refueling outages, forced outages, and online maintenance activities.
- Plan, schedule, monitor, and control project activities to ensure safe, high-quality, on-time, and within-budget execution.
- Direct project teams of 5-10 personnel and establish project priorities to achieve business objectives.
- Oversee all phases of project implementation, including work package development, procurement, resource planning, and execution.
- Manage project budgets, track costs against forecasts, and coordinate closely with finance and project controls teams.
- Develop, negotiate, and manage contracts while serving as the primary interface with vendors and external partners.
- Coordinate with engineers, operations personnel, stakeholders, and management to ensure project alignment and successful delivery.
- Resolve schedule conflicts, resource constraints, and execution challenges to maintain project performance.
- Support ALARA planning, industrial safety, nuclear safety, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Develop and maintain long-range project strategies and implementation plans.
- Monitor project management processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Prepare and deliver project updates, reports, and presentations to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Support Columbia Generating Station's Self-Assessment and Corrective Action Program initiatives.
- Provide outage support, including participation in Outage Control Center (OCC) activities.
- Maintain awareness of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices relevant to project execution.
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of 8 years of project scheduling experience, including at least 4 years supporting large-scale or mega projects.
- Experience supporting full life cycle construction projects with a strong understanding of engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) processes.
- Proficiency with Primavera P6 scheduling software is required.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, Earned Value Management (EVM), and risk management principles.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, maintain, analyze, and communicate complex project schedules.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present schedule data, forecasts, and scenarios to stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and build relationships across multiple organizational levels.
- Experience in the nuclear, renewable energy, or construction industries is highly preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced project environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work.
