Job Description

We are seeking a Field Technical Support Consultant I (Onsite Administrator - Print), OSA Level II to join our team in Mason, OH. The ideal candidate will have experience in device support, incident resolution, routine installations/configurations, and customer service and a proven ability to monitor systems, resolve performance issues, and maintain high customer satisfaction within defined processes.

Responsibilities:

• Apply growing technical knowledge to operate assigned technology areas and customer environments with limited risk and complexity.
• Monitor systems to detect performance issues and resolve routine in-scope technical incidents independently.
• Conduct routine installations, configurations, and scripted change activities per established protocols.
• Integrate technical knowledge and business understanding to create solutions for customers and support expectation management.
• Participate in incident trend identification and escalate incidents within defined timeframes.
• Respond to product, technical, and customer-relations inquiries to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
• Maintain daily production goals and meet contract-required response times.
• Adhere to incident, change, and problem management processes and ensure data confidentiality.
• Collaborate with teams to enhance operations and support department-level plans with minimal supervision.

Onsite Administrator (Print) - OSA Level II Duties:

• Manage consumable inventory and ensure adequate supplies at customer sites.
• Replace toner, consumables, and paper, and clear paper jams.
• Assist end users with device functionality and perform initial troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with HP for software-branded support and swap devices with spares as needed.
• Collect usage pages per device as needed and report customer dissatisfaction to CSM/SDM.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of HP products and services offerings and conceptual understanding of IT environments.
• Effective communication with technical audiences and first-level management; active listening skills.
• Problem-solving skills using defined procedures and ability to adjust messages to audience level.
• Experience level: 2-5 years of related work experience in maintenance, quality, or similar fields.

Preferred Skills:

• Associate degree in a technical field or higher. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience supporting print devices and onsite user support in enterprise settings.
