A Systems Analyst with expertise in Oracle eBusiness Systems is responsible for providing application support and maintaining the stability of Oracle R12.2.10 modules related to Finance and Oracle Projects. This role requires minimal supervision, effective problem-solving skills, and collaboration within a large Oracle support team. The analyst will support customizations, participate in change management activities, and ensure high customer satisfaction through operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Provide functional and limited technical support for Oracle eBusiness Modules in Finance (AR, AP, GL, CM, FA, iExpense, iSupplier) and Projects (Costing, Billing, Accounting).
- Support and troubleshoot issues related to system customizations and extensions, identifying root causes and proposing resolutions.
- Utilize diagnostics scripts, SQL, and query tools to analyze data, generate ad hoc reports, and identify data constraints and integrity issues.
- Develop and execute data correction scripts to address defects caused by inconsistent data states.
- Conduct conference room pilots, user acceptance testing, and system validation to ensure defect fixes and new features meet acceptance criteria.
- Manage change control activities and adhere to SOX compliance requirements when applicable.
- Collaborate with business users to understand their needs, articulate system behavior, and facilitate effective communication across teams.
- Track project deliverables, compile reports, and provide status updates to management.
- Engage in continuous learning through available resources to develop business and technical expertise.
- Support system upgrades, enhancements, and perform system operational tasks, with willingness to travel up to 10%.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with an Accounting major, or 5+ years of relevant industry experience supporting Oracle eBusiness Modules.
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience with Oracle eBusiness Modules, particularly in Finance and/or Oracle Projects.
- Strong understanding of data flow processes between subledger and General Ledger.
- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL, with at least 3+ years of experience.
- Knowledge of Oracle EBS Data Model and Architecture in Finance and Projects modules.
- Programming experience in Oracle Apex is preferred.
- Experience working in a multi-developer environment and familiarity with Agile methodologies such as SCRUM or Kanban is advantageous.
- Ability to communicate application behavior clearly and effectively to end users and technical audiences.
- Willingness and ability to support system changes, troubleshoot issues, and perform operational tasks.
- Good investigative and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
Publishing Pay Range: $80.00 - $81.00 Hourly
This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
